This Privacy Policy describes how BSC DISTRIBUTION collects, uses, and protects the personal data of users and customers of the site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection and Freedom law.

2. Collected Data

We collect the data you provide to us and those generated during your use of the site, including:

  • Identification data: name, first name, and for professionals: company name, SIRET, VAT number;
  • Contact details: postal address, email address, phone number;
  • Order and billing data: ordered products, amounts, order history, delivery and billing addresses;
  • Payment data: processed securely by our payment service provider (we do not retain your complete banking data);
  • Connection and browsing data: IP address, cookie data, pages viewed.

When placing an order, you declare that you are of legal age; we do not collect or retain proof of age.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Management of orders, deliveries, and returns — legal basis: performance of the contract ;
  • Invoicing and accounting — legal basis: legal obligation ;
  • Management of the customer account and customer service — legal basis: performance of the contract ;
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations — legal basis: legal obligation ;
  • Commercial prospecting and sending communications (if applicable) — legal basis: consent or legitimate interest ;
  • Improvement of the site and audience measurement — legal basis: legitimate interest / consent (cookies).

We are not currently conducting electronic commercial prospecting. If this were to change, it would only be implemented in compliance with applicable regulations (gathering consent if necessary, ability to unsubscribe at any time).

4. Recipients of the data

Your data is intended for the authorized internal services of BSC DISTRIBUTION and may be transmitted to the following categories of service providers, acting on our behalf:

  • Hosting and management of the site / orders: our management solution (Odoo) ;
  • Delivery : our logistics solution (Sendcloud) and partner carriers ;
  • Payment : our payment service provider and our banking institution ;
  • Audience measurement : our privacy-friendly audience analysis tool (Plausible).

These providers only have access to the data strictly necessary for the execution of their services and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

Your data may also be communicated to administrative or judicial authorities when required by law.

5. Transfer of data outside the European Union

Your data is, in principle, hosted and processed within the European Union. In the event that certain providers transfer data outside the European Union, this would be governed by the appropriate safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision, etc.).

6. Retention periods

Your data is retained for the following periods :

  • Customer account data : for the entire duration of the business relationship, then archived or deleted ;
  • Order and billing data : 10 years, in accordance with accounting and tax obligations ;
  • Prospecting data (if applicable) : 3 years from the last contact ;
  • Cookies : 13 months maximum.

7. Cookies

The site uses cookies and trackers to ensure its proper functioning, to remember your preferences (notably the confirmation of your majority) and to measure the audience.

During your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies. You can at any time change your choices via your browser settings or the cookie management bar of the site.

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the site do not require your consent.
